Salamata Diallo is Managing Director of Ecobank Liberia. Before this appointment, she served as Head of Corporate and Investment Banking at Ecobank Guinea, where she led corporate banking strategy and revenue growth for the affiliate. At Ecobank Gambia she held leadership roles including Head of Corporate and Investment Banking and Acting Managing Director, expanding corporate portfolios and structuring credit deals.

Her experience spans several group subsidiaries, including Ecobank Development Corporation (EDC) Ghana and EDC Investment Corporation Côte d'Ivoire, where she worked on syndicated loans and corporate finance transactions, building her expertise in investment banking and capital markets.

She holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Akron (USA), an MA in Economics from Université Kofi Annan de Guinée, and an ITB certificate from the Centre de Formation de la Profession Bancaire (CFPB), France. A bilingual Fulbright alumna with in-depth knowledge of West African banking markets, she has received honours from the Financial Management Association and Beta Gamma Sigma (Kappa of Ohio Chapter), among others.
