Hon. Mohammed L. Sow has been Deputy Managing Director for Technical Services at the Liberia Electricity Corporation since April 2025. As part of the executive management team, he oversees technical functions including planning, engineering, and project development and implementation.

An electrical power system engineer, he has more than 15 years of experience in the public and private sectors and across the region, with strengths in programme development and delivery and in the design, construction and commissioning of generation, transmission, substation and distribution projects. As Engineering and Contract Specialist at TRANSCO CLSG (2017–2025), he was a key contributor to the successful delivery of the CLSG Interconnection Project. He previously served at LEC as Manager of the Planning Department (2014–2017) and as a planning and system studies engineer (2007–2014).

He holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Liberia and an MSc in Power System Engineering and Automation from North China Electric Power University, Beijing.
